  • Responsible for generating and compiling reports based on his/her findings, complete with probable causes and possible solutions to systems issues.

  • Ability to work with the user community, IT development teams and Systems Engineering group to develop and formally document system requirements; create systems test plans and test cases; writes detailed use case scenarios; coordinate and execute test cycles; and assist in the resolution of post-production issues and enhancements.
  • Provides oversight for system testing, support, and quality assurance.
  • May assist developers in resolution of work problems related to flow charts, project specifications, or programming.
  • Ability to apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help maximize the benefit of IT system investments.
  • Assist the IT Project Manager in tracking progress on these tasks, and in resolution of issues that could impact the schedule, budget, resources or quality.
  • Acting as an intermediary between the business and IT, the business system analyst needs to have a keen understanding of both.
  • The candidate must have direct relevant experience working with customers and systems integrators on complex, enterprise solution implementation projects.
  • Contributes and adheres to standardized documentation, project management and systems development methodologies. Must have both functional knowledge and technical competence.
